As long as it doesn't block the light when the sun goes around the sides and to the back. Folding and storing it every time - no, thanks.
I would rather add more panels. Reflective boost would be my last option, after everything else had been tried - controlling my energy needs, adding more panels, and tilting (for long-term stay).
