IMO it is quite likely there was not full 1000 when I took those measurements of Voc and Isc today. I always thought getting full Isc at the panel meant there was full 1000, but all it really meant was that I should expect those full amps at the battery (which I got)
Now with 24v and MPPT it seems I need to go by Voc? That would be nasty. Usually when camping and I check Voc it is less than rated Voc, but Isc is right up there. But with MPPT going by panel watts to get the full amps, that means usually the panel will be less than full watts being at less than Voc?
So that makes it more difficult to do better with MPPT than with PWM? Rats.
