Solar Panel Voc-MPPT?
Wondering if there is any relationship between measured Voc and MPPT performance with a 24v panel. My 12v panel has a Voc rating of 21.9 and Isc of 8.2, but I often see 8.2ish when Voc is only 20....

I can't say about new tech in the new panel for low light. Doesn't mention anything about that in the blurb on it. It does have amazing bright jagged patterns of different blues instead of the usual muted blue pattern. Give you a headache looking at it :)
My solar so far has all been pretty much of an all or nothing deal for cloud overcast times. Get some trivial amount of amps when overcast. Low irradiance like shoulder hours on a nicer day was another story. Got solar wake-up right away and good amps soon after. Was clear of trees so can't say about shading type of low light.
It might show up when I have the older 130 and the newer 230 going in overcast, but then if the 230 did better, some might claim that it is the MPPT vs PWM that should get the credit. (It will also cure your sore knee, cook your dinner, and help you sleep better---)
ISTR they are sending the controller from Singapore. Not here yet, too soon.
