PT we live below the 49th in Victoria, but camp above the 49th Up-Island. :)
So all this time I have been getting rated Isc to the batts but that does not mean the panel was getting 1000? I have always believed getting the Isc meant I was at 1000 or else what do those IV curves mean?
They show that if you are less than 1000, Isc is lower than rated.
PT, if we never get 1000 "up here" how the heck can we get proper amps per panel wattage with MPPT?
Not planning to camp with solar until next April, so this is going to bother me all winter until I can check it out for myself. :( (Backyard tests meanwhile won't be able to test for max amps, just prove the equipment works.)
