Yes, I would expect about 14.5a with 230w of 12v PWM and would get that. Isc is the marker, Imp means nothing there.
I would hope to get more with MPPT, and it seems 16-17a is in the right order of what to expect as max amps.
What I don't have sorted out with MPPT is how to compare what amps I am getting at the batts with what I should be getting at that time, since I don't know what I should be getting.
If I am getting rated Isc at the panel (disconnected)that apparently does not mean conditions are perfect so that I should get max amps at the battery like I am used to when seeing rated Isc at the panel.
Perhaps in real life I will get about 16.6a when I do see 8.3 at the disconnected panel. That would be too easy I suppose.
Then I could go back to ignoring anything to with those watts things and just stick with those nice amps that don't confuse me :)
