Solar panels & controller - am I missing anything?

To run the RV amenities at night I've bought two 100W 12V Poly Solar Panel and a 5A,10A,15A Solar Charge Controller.

The RV is 2500 km away, and we're heading into a technologically bare place, so I want to do all my prep work beforehand.

When the panels and controller arrive I'll lay them out, assemble everything, hook them up to a multimeter to check the output. I'm new at this, and I'm worried that I'm missing the cables to go from the controller to the two 6V batteries. Is that right? Is there anything else that I don't know to ask?

Thank you for helping us out.

There are issues to consider with wiring, charging, what battery type you have, etc. I wrote the info at the link above but there are many other places you can read as well. Good luck with your system.
  • A $12 controller? Sheesh.. that's really cheap. I hope it works longer than a month.
  • Are you planning on mounting the panels and controller to the RV or standing them up next to the RV?
