John,
Yes, I am,
Glad you thought it was a 478 post WILD GOOSE chase, being I was and still am confused about some of this solar stuff, during those posts as I was attempting to UNDERSTAND, if most of the info posted was meant for me or someone????????? Very hard to tell for me, the way everyone started talking about stuff that was over MY head.
As an update,
I have 4-Canadian CS6P 220 watt panels, with a Tri-star MPPT 60a controller, with a 2025RV battery monitor gage, enough 10ga wire to have ALL solar panel wiring runs come out to be 15' for each panels wiring as mounted on the roof and run down thru the reefer duct.
The 4 - GC batteries will be installed and within a 8' max run to where the controller is mounted. Changed the front tongue battery box to a 2 battery holder.
At the present time, ALL the above equipment (except the batteries) are stored/buried inside the 40x40' garage as the better half advised me that a COMPLETE inside/outside REMODEL WIll be done, etc.
So, when I can get ALL the house stuff out of my shop/garage, I can then finish the solar install etc.
Sorry for wasting your time on a wild goose chase, that was NOT my intent.
I want to thank you for posting that wild goose chase, I am rereading it and KNOW I promised PT the photo's of my skirting install of the TH, had a chance to use it in -22*+ weather for this yrs (6mos of Hunting/trapping) season.
Makes a Great Mod to retain a better living conditions while working in a frozen Tundra.
Tia,
Don

Are you the same one who led us on a 478 post wild goose chase to design a solar system a couple years ago so you could go sheep hunting in the winter.
If so, how about some status on that before we go another few hundred posts trying to explain wiring to you?
HTH;
John
