Yes two GC2 or Group 27 with 200 amp/hours and about 200+ watts solar is what you need. You may still be leaning on the generator a lot depending on shade. Solar on the roof does work well in transit or stopped at a day use area.
If you have incandescent lamps you really need to convert to LED. At least for the lights used most.
Honda 1000 will drive about 40 amps into the battery. However your charging system needs to put 14.2+ volts on the battery to get the power in. Many converters are 55+ amps but only produce 13.6 volts. First 15 minutes might be good but then quickly tapers to a trickle charge. And the 55 amps would overload the Honda 1000 if the converter actually did the proper voltage.
I recommend the 30 amp IOTA with IQ controller or the Progressive Dynamics 9130 or 9140 with the charge wizard.
The 9145-14.8 would be ideal except I believe there would be a good chance the Honda would overload.
