I suspected as much - too bad, the same WFCO I have ... turned it off and instead use a portable charger that will do a proper 14.4 volt bulk charge. The most I ever saw out of my WFCO has been 13.72 volts at the battery, not enough for a quick bulk charge, certainly would drag out your genset charging times. You either live with it OR get a better converter / charger with charging characteristics that best match the batteries you have or intend to buy.
