Not really ... Honda specs their EU1000i for 900 watts continuous (7.5 amps). In theory this should accommodate a 60 amp converter / charger running full tilt - 60 amps x 14.4 volt bulk charge = 864 watts, which one might think would work. However, this is based on calculating watts and doesn't take into account the rather poor power factor of many converters that could be as bad as .6, in which case that 864 watts stated as VA (Volt Amps) would be well beyond the capability of an EU1000i ... ergo the rationale for instead using an EU2000i. ;)
