Time2roll suggests a 35 amp PD with Charge Wizard to go with that 1000w Honda, so when you make it do 14.4v with the CW, the VA will be there for it.
Here is the math for that, working back from output:
DC output 35 amps, 14.4v = 504w
Converter efficiency 85% as specified, means input needs to be 504/85=
593w input.
PF 0.7 so 593w needs 847VA, just under the Honda's 900VA.
Where do you get the Power Factor? I thought that equated to efficiency.
EDIT or? ...Converter efficiency 85% (PF .85?)
Generator PF .7 (efficiency 70%?)
I've seen converter specs stating claimed efficiency but nothing for generators that I remember.
