BTW the dual window fan that SoundGuy is recommending consumes a measly 27 watts. I use one to prevent the water system interior to the RV from freezing up by replacing the cold air return grill with the dual fan unit.
Don, it works for your uses, but.... Box fan is portable, you can put it where you need it. OTH, a window fan in my trailer I could put either on dinette window - then it would blow across the table where where I rarely sit but there is always something laying around, or on a bedroom window - then it would blow into an empty bedroom where I don't need it.

To the OP, it can get really hot in the BC Interior, once you leave the coast. Okanagon in particular. I wouldn't leave the coast in the spring/summer without a fan, at least.
And it continually amazes me how effective and quiet and low energy and cheap these fans can be. Since purchasing an 18" floor model, reciprocating, 30-35W AC, we haven't used our A/C in Florida over the last two winters. $30 US at one of the US discount stores.
Before the fan, we were always struggling with the loud and chilled A/C when we had shore power. Or just sweating it out with lots of cold beverages otherwise.
And they work outdoors to keep the skeeters away as well.
All you need is a very small inverter, prolly PSW for the motor.
