I plan on doing it myself now that I have the idea of how to hook it up, the reason for 2000w is weight and I don't really need more than that. I thought the $2000 price for almost everything but some 120 volt wire wasn't to bad. Magnum are pricey as well and its a 3000W.
Do what PT said to do, that is check the pricing at
iMarine. You have to put the item in the shopping cart to se the real price and you will find that you can get an inverter,controller, battery monitor, cheaper than the price of $2000
You can't beat iMarine pricing plus they have free shipping on purchases of $75 and more. Shipping does add up when shipping 50 pounds. The ME 3000H weighs 55 pounds and the 2000 weighs 40. Not that big of a deal in my opinion when it comes down to capabilities
