The inverter will not run if the battery voltage goes above 15v (or whatever the set-point is for that model.) It doesn't matter if the solar wiring goes via the inverter.
If the solar is set at 14.8 and has temp comp, and it is cold out, it will go above 15v. To run the inverter you need to knock down that battery voltage. I don't have enough DC big amp draw things that will do that. Only inverter draw will, but the inverter won't run! Now what? BTDT.
You need to turn off the solar, which will see a drop in battery voltage to less than 15v, so now you can start the inverter, which will really knock down the voltage, and now you can re-start the solar.
