This is where an infrared thermocouple (Thermo Gun) is worth it's weight in gold. But you probably don't have one - thought they were a frivolous expense...

Genuine replacements were about twice the size and weight of garbage cheapo's. And twice the price. If the Haden is large and has a large positive following then I'm convinced...
I put a giant Horton 9 blade fan on my bus. It helps tremendously when winding up steep 2-lane highways behind a 10 mph GMC 6-71 powered dump-truck overfilled with huge boulders. But then my Cummins 400 HP idles at 550 RPM and tops out at 2,050
