It's been a few years ago when I replaced the clutch fan on my old 86 gasser. I tried the HD Hayden and it didn't cool worth a darn. In fact I could never get any Hayden clutch fans to work like the originals out here in the hot southwest. Maybe they finally got them to work properly now.
I took it back and and went to Chevy and bought the same one that came with the 86.
That worked.
