OK, I have to admit, I'm running off of 8 month old memory here. Can't believe it's been that long since we went camping. Definitely a new record... one I have no desire to break.
So I'll walk it back just a bit. Perhaps it did not come on early. But I am absolutely certain that it took much longer than usual to disengage and at a much lower temp gauge reading.
Here's a shot of the spring. Note that the clutch does have grime all around the spring, but only the spring is "wet."
Wuddya' think?
