The inside is a taurus.
OEM devices that can blow up a six thousand dollar engine are not skimped upon. Imagine how much money a few hundred lawsuits then a mass recall would cost the manufacturer. For the life of me, every time I have encountered a product that was superior to original equipment, headlines, stars, giant font shouts BETTER THAN OEM!
The entire Hayden Company is worth about as much as General Motor's mail room.
Think about it. Only custom builders charging $500+ and up - way up build better alternators than factory originals. Build means exactly that. Housings and windings. OEM has better rebuilt electrical than 99.9999% of private rebuilder products.
The "warranty" on other than original equipment parts has more exclusions than a six story law firm. Read the warranty again. Now, go to the OEM warranty and compare. OEM can be sued. Aftermarket companies are slipperier than a snot covered night crawler when it comes to lawsuits.
Some things I'll substitute but risking $5,000 to save a hundred bucks isn't on the agenda.
