SOLVED AC not charging storage battery Fleetwood Jamboree Rallye 01

Hello, I am new to the world of RV-living and have encountered a problem I am hoping you will be able to help me with. Basically I am parked with the AC line plugged in and everything seems to work...

You said that running the generator charges it ? If the genset charges it, then the ac electric shore power should be charging it also.
If not, then the automatic transfer switch (ATS) that is suppose to switch the ac source from generator, to shore power has failed in the generator position
