Thank you all for your plentiful and detailed replies. To be honest a lot of it went right over my head as I am not well versed in all the technicalities yet. I really don't even know where to access all these panels and converters yet but I will look in the manual today and poke around.
The RV is a Fleetwood Jamboree Rallye 2001. I am currently permanently hooked up to a stable AC source. The wall sockets power my electronics when in use. Every 5-6 hours or so basically the fridge starts blinking and clicking, and when I try to run the overhead fixture lights (which are DC?) the BEEP warning emits if I don't do anything at this point the beep will turn on and keep going till it's addressed. The way I have been "fixing" this is to start the engine and run it for a little while then start the generator and run it for a little while 15-30mins. This seems to give me
about 5-6 hours of use.
Basically I'm trying to find out whether this is normal and perhaps the RV needs to be driven everyday to charge (the storage batteries?) to power the fridge and overhead lights. I was just hoping I could get it to run off the AC or have the AC charge the batteries since I don't plan on moving around a lot at this point.
I'm going to take the RV in on Monday and hopefully this time they will be able to fix the issues or explain how to use the RV properly. I will update you all here with what they had to say for future reference. Thank you all again and sorry I wasn't able to use your advice/suggestions in a better manner, I just have no idea where to even begin looking for half the stuff you talked about hehe. Have a good weekend all!
P.S. When I run the engine/generator I unplug the AC and plug the part it goes into, into the RV itself so it's like a closed loop system. Not sure if that is the converter you were talking about.
