[SOLVED] Lubricate Dometic element before replacement?

I'm replacing the element in a Dometic fridge. It was quite stiff pulling out the old element and I'm concerned I won't be able to slip in the new one. Is there a high temperature lubricant such as pe...

I ended up just using a squirt of WD-40. Got it in. Won’t be using it for a while so some of it should evaporate. I’ll keep an eye on it when I turn it back on.
