Specific Gravity of Diesel Fuel VS Motor Oil
The reason for the question is....in the event of an injector not closing properly and letting fuel leak into the cylinder will diesel fuel float on motor oil or is it reverse?

Again, this would be a good time to drain and replace oil. The last engine I saw that had a fuel->oil problem like yours shot a piston/rod through the block. Oil is cheap compared to engine replacement.
