1.255 is hardly dead, so it is not doomsday yet. You did get 12.6v before you added the water and now you get 12.2. They probably just need some TLC to gwet that warter mixed, but for that you need to be on shore power for a couple/few days.
Hard to get anything done like that on gen and solar while still drawing them down with daily needs while camping off- grid unless you can do the split bank thing and do half at a time. I would need several days to do 'recovery' like that. also I would use some "recondition" pulse desulfation with my Vector charger that runs for 20hrs at time--might do three days worth with equalizing in between recondition sessions. whole thing could take a week
