Oh yeah, look at that, it says ADD right next to the thermometer on the warmer temps. Where is that head smack emoticon?.
The electrolyte was a very light gray after the vigorous bubbling, and almost perfectly clear before I started charging them, though the solar had them floating for ~3 hours at 13.5. The cells varied slightly in color. the darkest was the cell which read highest initially.
There was a grey ring around the exterior stem of the hydrometer when I went to go rinse it, and all those little burning spots on my hands and arms off.
Right now at 12.08 volts under an 8 amp load. My monitor says I have used 14 amp hours since I stopped charging.
