Due to the California's gas prices as of late, I had not driven for several days.
I did some driving tonight, the first time since I added the water. Some speed bumps, abrupt incline changes while cornering, a couple yellow light hard decelerations. Overall a good shock absorber workout.
Only the engine battery was seeing alternator current.
If my battery monitor is to be believed, they are holding .2 higher volts for the same A/h removed compared to last night after the very aggressive equalization charge.
While they are not performing like new, I can get some more use out of them. I am still gonna call the battery distributor Monday and see what the warranty situation is.
I don't really need the capacity of 2 group 27 Crowns. It was just nice to know it was there if/when the excrement contacts the turbine.
It seems my quest to preserve the capacity of the batteries by reducing the number of cycles significantly, and making sure they were always fully charged, backfired as overcharging regularly seems to have done more damage.
