Well, tonight the batteries are doing slightly better, but it is warmer out too.
In retrospect I was pretty unconcerned about overcharging. When plugged in to shorepower, my solar would still bring them up to 14.8 each morning and hold them there for an hour. Last winter my charger would swing from 13.6 to 14.4 all night long when I ran my mattress heating pad.
I think I will just adjust the solar acceptance voltage to the same as float Voltage when I plug into the grid and am not cycling the batteries at all.
I will hopefully have a pd 9260 or similar this winter and not have to use the charger as a converter
If they honor the warranty, great, if not I'm just gonna run these down till they can't run my fridge all night, and consider going back to cheaper hybrid batteries instead of top dollar Deep cycles, as I obviously don't cycle deeply in normal usage.
