My vote goes to Seafoam I had similar results a few years ago with my old Craftsman Snow Thrower.
And, my neighbor who used Stabil, had trouble getting his Snow Thrower started after sitting all summer. When he did it ran rough.
I drained his fuel tank and put in Seafoam treated gas from my can that had been sitting about 9 months.
It started up after a few pulls, ran rough for a few seconds then smoothed out and ran great.
Scientific proof? Nope. Did it convince me? Definitely.
YMMV
