I have personally used Sta-bil for over 30 years, and my family for well over that. Never an issue, even when storage exceeds 12 months with E10 fuel.
There are many additives that will help stabilize fuel for storage, so I don't and will never swear one is better than another. I simply stick with what works and has never once failed me.
