I run E0 in all my small engines. At the end of the season I empty the gas tanks and run the engines until they're out of gas. Knock on wood, I've never had a problem.
Last spring I had to disassemble & clean the carb on SIL's string trimmer, the main jet was all gummed up. 'Course he uses E10 and stored it with gas in it....
