I have the same exact generator, except without the battery "boost"... a Yamaha 3000iSE, with about 4500 hours on it. Other than the usual upkeep, I've found that Sta-Bil is OK... but the best thing to use to keep fuel working is Star-Tron. It may not be a prominent brand, but it is sold in most hardware stores. When storing the generator, I wind up filling it up completely, and even though only a few ounces are needed for treating the tank, I just dump an entire bottle in. Over-medicating hurts nothing, while with SeaFoam, I learned the hard way that over-medicating with that will mean the generator will make smoke, but will stall until you drain it. With Sta-Bil and Star-tron, dumping an entire bottle may be a waste of money, but it won't affect generator performance.
I did learn the hard way about not putting fuel stabilizer in. Took a manual carb rebuild, and running all kinds of stuff, that people recommended like Berryman's B-12, and other solvent-based stuff to finally unclog the idle jet.
Politics aside, E10 really does a number on small engines. Here in Texas, you just have to use a fuel stabilizer and drain/change out the gas often (as in under four weeks.) The exception is the E0 gasoline that costs $4 a quart at the hardware stores and comes in metal bottles.
