Those Schumacher portable chargers shown in the links above seem to be excellent chargers. Go for one of those and use your generator to power it.
We use a similar old Sears 2-10-50 charger, at the same time connected in parallel with our 13.6 volt RV converter - both powered at the same time with a very small generator - to charge up our two large RV batteries when drycamping. Keep your life and your RV's battery life sweet and simple. We hit the RV batteries with idling of the main engine, occasionally, too.
