PT, manual chargers no longer exist at Harbor Freight except for full size wheeled chargers that top out at 40-amps SIX AMPS LESS than my Megawatt. I got grumbled at for being cranky so I followed their advice and add a Happy Face smiley to soften my abrasive replies somewhat. (Most) RV'ers ridicule the suggestion of buying a wheeled charger for RV use so I assssssumed the OP was not looking for a an apartment-size refrigerator, charger.
Hint. One NEW Wal-Mart group 29 battery discharged to 12.0 volts. One WhiffCo converter stuck on 13.6 volts. Plugged battery into converter Monday morning 0900. Took battery off converter THURSDAY 0530 and measured specific gravity. NONE of the six cells had reverted to 1.280 corrected specific gravity. Try 1.270 to 1.272. Sold battery to customer who uses it on a rancho. Two years later now he still waxes eloquent how good that battery works.
Max output of the Whiffco tested out to be 56.2 amps. Voltage 13.62 fixed. The unit apparently likes a six and a 2 in the setpoints.
