In my opinion, a tire pressure gauge and some basic training are the most valuable.
If the steering damper is worn, it would make good sense to replace it. Replacement is a very straightforward job; it took me maybe half an hour, and much of that was figuring how to jack up the frame reasonably safely as the weight on the front just happened to make the tie rod block a damper mounting bolt.
