Still having possible convertor and/or battery issues

Hello All,
Just posted on July 6th about 12v lights dimming, then brightening on our 2010 FR 5V.

Couple of responses led me to suspect converter being culprit.

Everything I have read on OEM sites indicate that no load voltage of my 75W converter should be at least 13.6 volts.

Measured output of converter with fluke tester, it is 13.7 volts.

What is best way to test 12V output of converter WITH A LOAD? I bought the converter home with me, (RV stays parked at lake).

I just don't want to buy a new converter & that not fix the problem.

Thanks BillyW, Great idea. Will move to Tech Issue Forum.

  • Put it on a battery. Put a 12v load on that battery if it's not in need of charging.
