Drain it, dry it out, stow it anywhere convenient.
You may have a much beefier one than I use, but this is about the only way to do it. Granted I use a Cameo in-line (blue Wallmart cheap-o), but all I do is drain, and let dry. Drying is the important thing.
If your is more advanced, take it all apart (the best you can), remove the filter and let everything dry completely. If you store it wet, you'll have mold or something growing in it eventually.
