We did get one slide to come in yesterday with the rv tech when i hooked jumper cables to the batteries. Im in a 2004 itasca horizon 40. I cant find any fuses, which seems like the next step. Then someone said dont rely on what the voltemiter says and that maybe the voltage drops to almost nothing when i push the button to bring in the slides. Whats funny is yesterday when the batteries were low , i at least heard a click when i pushed the button. Any ideas from you more experienced rv'ers

My slide is wired directly to the battery thru one of the self setting circuit breakers. That breaker along with a similar one for the converter are located on the under side of the trailer just behind the tongue close to the battery. Look around and under the tongue area for something that looks like the fol:
Mine were exposed to the elements and had to be replaced within 2 years of getting the trailer. They corrode and then either don't work or burn out.
They are available at any auto parts store for around $5 and most common sizes are 20, 30 and 40A.
