Hi Naio,
Agm jars sometimes want to be "woken up" with a high charge rate. It is not that you can't run a 20 amp charger--it is that 20 amps may not enough to service the Agm's and make them "rise and shine (it's sunlight in the swamps?)".
As always, solar starts with a really really energy audit. Kill-a-watt is the best tool with the very best "bang for the buck" for that purpose.

I do have a charger that can do 20amps Why would it not run on my ex650? I have used them together, though more of a top charge and maybe not maxed out on amps.
Hmm... sounds like I would need a lot of solar to run both freezers. Another option would be to stick with the one freezer, and have someone back home send me frozen stuff from the other periodically. Much less convenient.
