SCVjeff, has a little Mex in him, he likes playing with, metering and discharging lots of big heavy batteries, while monitoring them every hour, on the hour... no steak and tossed green salad breaks like I sometimes take.
Since it's a 3 day weekend, I may come by to let him torture my Deka AGM, in the name of science. We'll have to pigtail it back in with his massive solar array panel on his RV for a full recharge, after the testing is over. Guy's a real Frankenstein, likes to stay up all night, and sleep half the day. It's OK, he hasn't bit me yet or tried to suck the blood out of me, so I think he's not from Transylvania. Gotta wonder though, defying death 3 times... there's some cat in him, perhaps?
Yeah, scvJeff's Leaning Tower of T145's were some really gigantic tall batteries. True buggers. I don't remember if he had 4 or 6 of them, but there was a LAWT UH AMP'URES stuffed into the belly of his ultra plush Motor home, plus cables, plus washers, plus lock washers, plus nuts. Spaghetti center. Frankly, I think soon, if he retires, when the Trojans start to sag, he'll be in the market for some of those surplus AGM's that don't need pulling out and testing annually, or dipping, either, or corroding your cables, either. But the boy in him loves to tinker too much.
