Stupid battery and solar questions
I figure I am going to have a lot of them, so I better put all in one thread :B. My situation: - I mainly want solar for running residential freezer and fridge, maybe also for charging my shave ...

The question I am asking myself now is: If I have, say 4 big batteries, where am I going to put them? Where do you folks have yours?
The bed is behind the axle, so I don't really want to put weight there. The rest of the floor space is pretty full (I need lots of space for the ice machine and 2 freezers).
There's a lot of room UNDER the van, and it'd be nice to have the weight low. But I'd need protection from rocks, and would it be a hassle to have them less accessible? Are there suitable racks on the market, or would I have to have them fabricated?
