the situation in Naios case is the running
its not a fridge, its a freezer
and she will leave it off closed unopened for several days
then turn it on and it will run non-stop for 6 hours to get cold again
so when it runs it is pretty much a continuous run no cycling
she has stated in other posts, while van hunting that in its current ? old position in the old van it was under the bed and this lack of ventilation was both good and bad
it helped keep it insulated and cold. but held in heat when running and made for a longer cool down time to get back to the set temp
perhaps things will be different in the new van
