Ok, I bought some batteries. Now you all can tell me I did the wrong thing :).
I decided to split the diff and get 5, but when we were picking through to get the best ones the seller got tired after 4.
After testing the first few, I decided that my criteria for 'good' were over 13v resting state (it had been a month or so since they were top charged) and over 11.75 under a 130v load on his tester.
Honestly, I was surpriaed they dropped that low under load. (But some dropped to 11.1. Those I did not buy.) Maybe you all can tell me if this means I bought cr*p.
Next item: I guess with all these batteries, I need a new charger.
Reading through old threads, you guys seem to like the Powermax. Is that still true?
I know the adjustable voltage version is the gold standard, But I have memory problems, especially when tired, and I don't think I should trust myself with it. Will the 'smart charger' version be a lot worse?
60amps? There's kind of a price jump from 60a ($170) to 75a ($200). At bestconverter, anyway.
Alright, that's it from me, tonight. Thanks, guise :)
