Are you logged in? I always use the Woodalls portal and I never log out but if I look at RV.NET portal I am not logged in there and all the posts show as "unread".
Gene & Ginny I wish mine would do that but it doesn't.
I have also noticed that "unread" depends on your last visit not which subject you have actually read. Example: If I leave Woodalls at 10PM on Monday then the next time I visit the only subjects that show "unread" are the subjects that had posts after 10PM on Monday.
It seems the portal looks at the time in your previous session cookie to determine when you were last active. If you clear your cookies then everything will be unread, and you have to log in again. Unlike vBulletin forums that store your "last login" time by username, this one seems to depend on the timestamp in the session cookie. - BluegrassBillExplorerUsed to be when I read a topic the topic that I read would have a dotted line around it. Now it no longer does that, What changed ? The yellow in the circle to the left of the topic stay's yellow after being read.

- wa8yxmExplorer IIISadly not that I have found till the thread goes to multiple pages.
I do like that feature in some of the well designed forums I read.
But then I go back to the days when you paid for connect time by the minute and at 300 baud so scrolling through a ton of traffic to get to the new posts was..... Not practical... And the programmers knew that. - mgirardoExplorerYou only get the option to go to the first unread post if the topic goes beyond 1 page.
-Michael - JpatrickcExplorerIs there a way to go to the first unread post instead of having to scroll through all the posts that I have already read?

- CottontopExplorerHarvard, I am glad that works for you but it does not for me.
