- Old-BiscuitExplorer IIIRemove the burner tube...the main orifice is right on gas valve where burner tube connects.
Remove the orifice and clean it with alcohol.
If you still have a small flame after cleaning then gas pressure is low or gas valve is faulty. - RoyBExplorer IIMy hot water heater doesn't like the cold weather very good... I hear it making multiple trys to fire when the temps are real cold.
When we first hookup and turn on propane, we always run the stove burners for a minute or two to bleed the lines real good...
