You didn't say what kind of Dash Cam you had but in my case it is a G1WH
Mine was always falling off so I went to a mirror mount and it works GREAT and depending on the type of Dash Cam you have there may be one available for it, they are cheap enough that I have one in each of my vehicles, no problem, just take the camera along as I change rides.
