Suggestions for a bladder type water tank n pickup bed.

At 65 I'm tired of carrying the 5 gallon water jugs to pour in my 5er when at parks with no water at camp site. I'd love to get a compact bladder type tank to put in truck. I could go fill up with about 50 gals at park water station and then have 12v pump to pump into rv tank with my garden hose.
Can anyone inform me of a worth while bladder type setup. My self & back thank you.
  • “love to get a compact bladder type tank to put in truck”

Compact? Volume of water dictates size of bladder. Seems worth and while I like water jugs. Do you have sufficent pay and load in truck?
  • I have this 60 gallon model. I used the winterizing port on my water pump to pull water from the bladder or 5 gallon jugs. I also installed a tee in the hose for the fresh tank fill. That tee goes to a ball valve and tees into the pressure side of the pump. When the valve is open it pulls from the bladder and dumps into the fresh tank fill hose.

I dont need any extra pumps. I have a cap for the winterize port and made a hose to go from winterize to garden hose. I can lay the bladder on my utility trailer or put it in the truck bed. Even with the FW hitch in the bed I can throw a tarp in the bed and around the hitch to protect the bladder. Even with the very irregular shape I can usually still get 40 gallons or so. I was lifting 5 gallon jugs to fill the fresh tank but my neck/spinal stenosis didn't like it.

I also bought one of these for those times that I just walk to a park faucet for 5 gallons. My heavy lifting days are over. I can do a lot of stuff a little at a time but I cant do a lot of stuff in a short time. :)
