If he's talking about the place I think he is http://sunelec.com/ it is my understanding that you can pick up the panels, etc., in either Miami or Phoenix and save shipping costs. I assumed they also shipped from Phoenix, but I could be wrong on that.

They seem to have good prices on name-brand panels, but I don't know what kind of hit the shipping would be. You would need to call.

I recently bought a big blue water container (for boondocking use) and shipping varied from $60-something dollars, which was more than the cost of the container, to $6. I bought the one with $6 shipping. That brought across the country, from Utah to WV. Not bad, and the price of the item was not artificially inflated compared to other sources.

It pays to shop around. I must have contacted at least a dozen companies selling these water jugs before I found one with very reasonable shipping.

I got to their cheap panel part about the plate having no frame and I lost interest.

I had a 30 X 50" sheet of linen Bakelite shipped to me from South Carolina and the shipping cost more than the product. Not Any More. You can access UPS ship costs online. Trucking shipping would be astronomical.

Nobody? There's a lot of past threads; plenty of people recommending this company to others - but no one wants to share their actual costs in dealing with the company?
