Anyone out there use this product? Good/bad? Any other good options? surg protector

I looked at Progressive Retailers sites after initially viewing op.
they have some versions that are well over 300.00.
We have the 50 amp Surge Guard. I don't think CW had Progressive at the time. It cost us near 400.00, it seems.
It has save the coach a few times. I remember two right now. In Missouri we hooked up to pedestal and cut on air conditioning. Only one ran. Wife started Microwave in the interim and it didn't wan to run. Lights wouldn't come on.
I'm not quite sure what was the cause. The Campground said something about new wiring and water. The Surge Guard kicked out. I'm not sure why it ever let power to the coach.
Second time a full campground. No one used air conditioning much, at that campground in Michigan but a lot of some bodys must have turned them on at once.
Surge kicked off the surge guard. Some had brown outs. Coach has built in protection but we weren't aware of it when we bougth the Surge Guard.
Third time, I now remember same campground. Tornado to the west and sever thunderstorm. Surge guard kicked out. Lightning strike to sub station or something. No power til next day, I think. Some had some damaged electronics.
