To protect the dog you will need either an auto-start generator or a heat alarm to send you a text. Or both.
For surge, polarity, ground, and voltage protection I recommend a Progressive Industries EMS. (energy management system) Although if anything is not correct the power is shut off to protect the RV. When the issue is corrected power will be reconnected.
To prevent your RV from suffering low voltage you need a Hughes Autoformer. This boosts low campground voltage 10% when needed.
