Nope. It is just inadequate usually. You are one of a few folks who has ever seen 14.6 coming from a wfco. However, the results you have posted from charging times don't seem to show that voltage is being applied with sufficient amperage to the battery bank.
The wfco will recharge the bank--if you give it 168 hours.
I much prefer to use my Magnum inverter/charger to the OEM PD with wizard. Even better is the Blue Sky solar charge controller. Both have temperature sensors. But those solutions are considerably more expensive than replacing the wfco.
Well I've seen that voltage at the output, not at the batt terminals. That is why I am hesitant to blame the converter. Once I get whatever other problem fixed, we will see. With the interrelationship between voltage and current, it's entirely likely I won't get 14.4 Volts when the converter starts putting the coals to it.
It seems clear to me the voltage from the converter isn't making it to the Batts.
To me, that's step 1 to fix.
I want a 9260, but it isn't worth doing until this is fixed.
