Swap 12v for 120v Fridge Element? UPDATE 2
EDIT--it turned out you can't swap them--they are not the same and it would fry things if you applied 120v to the 12v element ---------------------- UPDATE 25 Jan--12v is cooling down the freezer....

I am running a test now for the 12v holding overnight as for a pre-camping day. Got the fridge down on gas, fridge thermometer says it is the right freezer temp. Ambient is already the right fridge temp :)
So in the morning after 16 hours I will see what the thermometer in the freezer says.
Yes, the only benefit is to save a little propane, but might as well try it.
